My first year being a Grad student, an update :)

At E. Franklin Street, UNC Having completed my first year at UNC, I thought its time that I could share some updates at my end. The first year, I must say was very engaging to adjust with academics and a different style of living life. There is a stark difference between academics here and during my under-grad in India. The application related approach to academics followed here is what I believe makes you stronger conceptually. The time I have spent here has been rewarding to give me the first hand experience at research. Thinking about a problem all day and then may be by sheer luck getting an insight to solving an aspect of it is truly exhilarating! And the best part is that you get a chance to let the world know  your t(iny)-bit contribution, that gives you a sense of accomplishment! (if I don't sound loud.)  As the academic maxim goes "Publish or Perish". I did my part not to be on the latter. I churned out my way working as a Researc
